I seriously don’t even know where to begin with this blog – I’m already emotional! Haley and Drew moved here earlier this year, and I was instantly drawn to her! Haley is a wedding photographer, and the way we met was just absolutely WILD. She happened to sit next to two of my other clients that lived in Chicago on the way home from Charleston, and they ended up setting up engagement photos. Haley reached out to me on Instagram, and the rest as they say was history! Our friendship began and now I seriously regard Haley as one of the most talented photographers in town! You might even have seen her at some of our weddings, because I always try to snag her when she’s available to assist and second shoot with me – the queen!
Haley has worked weddings with me, we’ve headshot swapped, and then she asked me my most favorite question – she asked me to be her wedding photographer after she and her husband’s plans were thwarted due to COVID! As sad as I was for her, I knew this day would be perfect, and I happily signed on for their wedding at Upstairs at Midtown. I absolutely loved their wedding day, and feel insanely honored that I was able to shoot it alongside such a fabulous wedding team.
