Educate | Empower| Encourage – The Impact

As we end the year, I wanted to share something that has made all the difference to my brand and business.  Earlier this year (shockingly, before COVID), I was feeling completely defeated and burnt out, and honestly thought about shutting it all down at the end of this year.  Obviously, 2020 had different plans for me AND THANK GOD I did not stop.

I have met some of the most interesting people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this year. I’ve booked clients that value who I am as an ARTIST, not as a person or because of price – and WOW, that is a good feeling. I have been inspired to keep grinding, to change the entire trajectory of my business, and who/what do I have to thank for that? A facebook group that is truly the equivalent to an adult business-themed Disney World.

Educate | Empower | Encourage (E3) has truly changed the trajectory of my business.  This group was started by Julie Bunkley and Courtney Wolf (Invision Events and Wendy Tylaska (Birds of a Feather Events), three incredibly inspiring women who are completely crushing it in their businesses and as mentors to an intimate group of professionals that I’m thankful to call friends.

This group has challenged my thoughts and processes and has pushed me to see more for myself. It also has given me the greatest opportunity – to practice gratitude in all facets of my life, practice mindset shifting and manifestation, and connect with other industry professionals who are equally walking this walk of intention.  Because of this group, I found my voice, my sweet spot, AND my passion was reinvigorated. I just pinch myself when I think that I *almost* gave up, because I would have completely missed out on all of this goodness this year.

Each week there are office hours in which we are supported and challenged as we ask questions pertaining to personal self or business. There are also weekly lives from industry leaders (hello, Sean Low was on, for example!) who provide tangible and strategic resources for wedding professionals across varying disciplines.

I feel like I’ve told them often how much I appreciate all that they’ve poured into our group this year, but I would be remiss if I didn’t publicly thank them in front of all of you as well, because truly, I credit them with the tremendous growth my business has seen this year, alongside the seeds they’ve help me feel confident enough to plant that will grow and grow over the next few years.

If you are interested in learning more about this community, or you’re looking for industry leaders who are not teaching on business as usual, but teaching how to ACTUALLY create a sustainable business that better serves YOU as a business owner, artist, and especially for your clients, I highly encourage you to reach out so that I can personally connect you with this amazing team. I will say, it’s *good vibes only* here – none of that negativity (seriously, I’m not sure I’ve seen even a slither off cattiness, drama, or negativity talk – mindset is EVERYTHING here), so if you’re ready to do the work, sow seeds, and “be in the room” where we are breaking every ceiling, let’s get you in the group so you can elevate your world too!

Thank you, E3, and all of you for following along this season. I’m wishing you and yours the very best Thanksgiving holiday!
