At-Home Elopement | Charlotte, NC

September 17, 2020

Sacia Matthews

Christina and Darryl are one of our sweet COVID couples that completely had to change course last minute. Their intimate wedding day at The Planters Inn in Charleston, SC totally had to be reimagined when the stay at home mandates came into play. Based in Charlotte, NC with families stationed all over the world, they had no idea how they were going to bring it all together. But they totally nailed it.

Christina and Darryl decided on an at-home elopement in their brand new home.  It was so emotional and gorgeous, and even better, Christina and Darryl (both who have impeccable style) still had gorgeous details. Their original wedding florist designed the day, and I was there to capture all of the action.  Their family and friends watched alongside them on Zoom, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!

We are so excited these two still were able to have their dream day. And we can’t wait to have a killer anniversary party in Charleston, SC next year!
