Modern Romantic Wedding at The Cedar Room

February 25, 2020

Sacia Matthews

Oh, Katie and Jon! These two are some of my favorite people! You know the kind of people that just light up a room, but their energy is just so calm? They are these people, and it is so energizing to work with clients like them.

Katie had a vision of a classic Charleston wedding at The Cedar Room (which they fell in love with instantly), but really wanted it to feel and honor their story. They made the right choice in working with Chauncey of Bouquets and Bowties Charleston, because she took this dream and made it a reality.

They chose not to have a wedding party, which meant they had a super calm getting ready space (swoon), and they chose meaningful details to anchor and craft the beginning of their wedding day story (double swoon!). I just loved my time with them and wish we could do their day again and again.

Katie and Jon made sure their guests had amazing experiences by making sure they spent time with as many people as they could that day, having the BEST band (Emerald Empire – the best!) that kept the dance floor moving, and of course you can’t go wrong with hosting any event with The Cedar Room, one of our FAVORITE venues in town!

Enjoy looking back on their big day!

Thank you to this incredible vendor team for rocking the wedding!
