I get asked fairly often from newer photographers what are the tools that I use the most and what do I find most beneficial, so I decided to share this with the world today. Being a destination wedding photographer, and often working with couples and vendor teams that are from all parts of the world, it’s critical that I am organized, efficient, and have easy tech in place that keep our systems moving.
If you’ve been wondering what I think you should invest in for 2021 and beyond, here’s my list! I’m also happy to share that I now have a new resource tab that you can find here, and it houses all my favorite things – many that I’m able to pass off savings to you! Enjoy!

Goodlight Presets
Okay, I’m sharing with you my best kept secret, which is Goodlight Presets! I seriously LOVE using Goodlight on my images, and after running through the gamet of presets as a newer photographer, I can tell you that hands down, Goodlight is the best, and I recommend it to every photographer that comes through my mentoring and coaching services. Goodlight emulates film, but also is great if you want that dreamy, warm look to your light and airy images. The black and white pack also emulates film, and is seriously my favorite to use on my black and white images. Please remember, presets are not meant to just slap on like a filter, you’ll still need to have proper camera settings, good light, and of course know the tweaks you need to make for your signature style, but as a base, I could not recommend Goodlight more!
