Oh, my goodness. I am SOOOOO incredibly excited to share this wedding with you all from March 7, 2020 at The Gadsden House. I knew it was going to be amazing before I stepped out of my car. Truly, I was so excited to shoot this wedding!
Angela + Xan (Xangela!), are two of the coolest clients we have ever had. They currently live in NYC, but knew that they wanted a classic Charleston destination wedding. This is always a solid choice, and a large percent of our couples do this! These two are world travelers, truly soulmates (spend 5 min with them and you’ll see!), and they love their communities hard – which makes them a perfect fit with us!
Angela and Xan chose to work with Jessica from Yoj Events, and what an amazing choice! She is such an amazing asset for any wedding day. The planners from Yoj Events are incredibly professional. We are so excited to work with them again this year to create even more magic!
We had an amazing day at The Gadsden House, as always. This is a historical venue that is totally a Charleston Charmer. The Gadsden House has so many gorgeous, original features… hardwood floors, gorgeous lighting fixtures, ALL THE THINGS. We seriously love The Gadsden House, hence why you see so many photos from there on our website, ha!
The best part of all is when Martha Stewart Weddings reached out asking to see more from this wedding last week. They wanted to consider it for publication. Ya’ll, I know it might be so cheesy, but I was on my way home from Charleston when I got the e-mail. I honestly thought it was spam at first glance. I sure was excited to be wrong!
The feelings around getting published never get old to me, I’m always so excited, but this was just a huge goal of mine, and them reaching out to me for this chic Charleston wedding was just – the best. It’s a true highlight to my 2020 in a year that hasn’t been so glam lately.
