A+H at Lowndes Grove
A+H were wed on a rainy, yet beautiful day at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, SC. What I loved most about this day was the intention that centered around it. A+H had been long-distance for some time due to COVID, and Alistair finally was able to come back to the US from Europe so that he could wed his beautiful bride, Hannah. Everyone was giddy all day, but when I first spoke to Hannah, it so clearly registered how important it was that while this day might be smaller than anticipated, that it have a huge impact not only in design and location but in terms of their time together and images captured.
We knew we had to bring the romance game with this wedding at Lowndes Grove, and fortunately, it was so easy with the natural chemistry between these two. They were all about each other and their families and were doing all they could to ensure everyone (vendors included!) was having the best day.
We Do! Charleston was the planner/designer behind this wedding, and they were able to give these two a dream day at gorgeous Lowndes Grove. They centered their design around bright, bold colors – expertly brought in by Petaloso and Lori’s gorgeous blooms, which brought so much joy on this rainy Charleston day.
Baylye, Principal Planner at We Do! Charleston also brought in some fabulous rentals from Ooh! Events, and even The Pink Figgy was able to stop by, a Charleston staple. This made sure to individualize their day, and this design has gotten SO much praise from everyone since it was published in Carats and Cake!
